President, Rodem Care

Dr. June N. Cha was commissioned by the Global Mission Society (GMS) in 1994 and served in Ethiopia, engaging in literacy programs, adult education, and children’s ministry in partnership with Serving In Mission (SIM).

She holds Master of Arts degrees in Christian Counseling and Mission Studies, and earned her Doctor of Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary, where she received the 2018 Contextualization Award for her dissertation titled “A Study on the Career Transition of Korean Midlife Missionaries: With Special Reference to the Rodem Missionary Care Ministry.”

Dr. Cha’s areas of expertise include counseling, missionary debriefing, and career transition for cross-cultural workers. She currently serves as President of Rodem Care, an organization dedicated to missionary care and renewal, and is also the Founder and President of the Missionary Career Transition Center, which provides holistic support for missionaries navigating career transitions.
