Lecturer, Sabah Theological Seminary

Dr. Jaewoo Jeong currently serves as a full-time faculty member at Sabah Theological Seminary in Malaysia, where he has been teaching since 2018. 
He brings a rich blend of academic training and extensive cross-cultural ministry experience, having served among Hui Muslims in China and trained Chinese missionaries for several years. His ministry journey also includes Business as Mission work in Bahrain and pastoral service in the United States. Dr. Jeong holds a Ph.D. in Missiology from Concordia Theological Seminary and a Th.M. in Old Testament from Western Theological Seminary, reflecting his integrative approach to biblical studies and mission theology. His academic interests focus on worldview transformation, missional reading of Scripture, and cross-cultural engagement with Muslim and Chinese communities. Through both teaching and writing, he continues to equip future Christian leaders for faithful and contextually grounded mission.
